SA Health

I am a 3rd-year endocrine advanced trainee and PhD candidate from Adelaide. I graduated from the University of Adelaide with Bachelors in Medicine, Surgery and Health and Medical Sciences (Hons) degrees in 2018. I’ve subsequently undertaken medical training at the Royal Adelaide, Queen Elizabeth and Lyell McEwin Hospitals. Alongside my clinical practice, I’ve led research into the potential applications of gut-nutrient interactions in the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, the development of inpatient guidelines to support hypocalcaemia management in the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, and the creation of learning objectives to support clinical medical student learning in internal medicine at the University of Adelaide. I continue to explore these interests alongside my PhD research titled “The metabolic effects of low-calorie sweeteners in health and type 2 diabetes mellitus.”
