Dr Georgia Sheedy

Princess Alexandra Hospital, QLD

Dr Georgia Sheedy is a final year Endocrinology Advanced Trainee at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, undertaking dual training in Endocrinology and Obstetric Medicine. She completed her medical degree at The University of Queensland in 2017, and went on to complete physician training across South East Queensland, including positions at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital.

Her clinical interests span the breadth of endocrinology, with a particular focus on pituitary and adrenal disease, and a research interest in Cushing’s syndrome. Georgia is especially drawn to the overlap between endocrinology and obstetric medicine, and looks forward to working across both fields upon completion of her training.
